Learn to Meditate
This program consists of:
4 classes of 45 minutes each, held on Sunday morning at 9:00am
4 guided meditations of 30 minutes each held on Thursday morning at 7:30am
Thinking that meditation is all about emptying the mind is a misconception. During this 4-week course, we will demystify this concept and discover the numerous benefits of meditation.
Amongst other things, course participants can expect to experience and learn the following:
1) How to prepare your mind and body for your meditation practice
2) How to set-up for your meditation
3) Recognize your resistance patterns to meditation
4) How to anchor and quiet your mind
5) Experience three specific meditation techniques
Outcomes of the course:
Upon concluding this program, participants will have the basic knowledge and tools needed to start and/or maintain a daily meditation practice.
Tools needed:
There are no specific tools needed for this program. However, the following can be useful but not necessary: a chair, cushions, yoga blocks and bolsters, yoga mat. Participants can take notes so having a notepad and a pen handy is encouraged.
Who is this program for?
Everyone is welcome to join this program, especially those who have never meditated, or those who find it challenging to maintain a regular meditation practice.

4 guided meditations of 20 minutes each held on Thursday morning at 7:30am
Dates & Time:
9:00am to 9:45am on Sundays, January 3rd, January 10th, January 17th, January 24th, 2021 and
7:30am to 8:00am on Thursdays, January 7th, January 14th, January 21st, January 28th, 2021
Cost: $80 (includes 4 classes on Sundays and 4 guided meditation on Thursdays)
