ROTATIONAL BASELINE ASSESSMENT
A simple assessment to do before and after a session to determine if we can improve our range of motion, and ability to rotate effectively. The assessment below was performed on February 5th, 2022, during our weekly virtual Yoga for Golfers™ class.
In a standing position, lift one arm at shoulder height, and start rotating to the right. Have someone take a picture, or observe where your finger tips are pointing. Repeat on the other side. You can expect up to 30% more rotation. For some golfers, this can translate to greater club head speed and a more distance off the tee. Try it and let me know if you have any question!
