I just wanted to thank you for all the benefits that I have experience since starting Yoga for Golfer sessions with you in early May. My range of movement, flexibility, strength and balance have all improved significantly. An added benefit is that the pain from the arthritis in my hip is drastically reduced by the end of each session.

As a “weekend golfer” suffering for many years with inconsistency, “Yoga for Golfers” has created a welcomed change in my whole approach to the game. Not only did balance and rhythm improve through the exercises, I learned the secret of breathing! Such a simple concept; but it has made a tremendous difference in both the mental and physical aspects of the game. Golf has become far more enjoyable and relaxing ever since. I fully endorse “Yoga for Golfers” as an essential tool in my golf bag!

Last year I took the series of Yoga for Golfers™ with Chantal, and found that the stretches, breathing, and visualization techniques were very helpful. In fact, I reached the lowest index in my 30 year golfing career, getting down to 3.8!

One of the biggest problems with my golf game was the way I carried tension in my body. I decided to take Yoga for Golfers in the hope that it would help me relax… and it did! Before teeing off, I now spend more time warming up and stretching with exercises learned in Chantal's class. This helps me to start out my game much more relaxed. The breathing techniques I learned in class have also proven to be very helpful especially when I am struggling on the course; a few deep breaths and I am more relaxed and end up playing better!

Today my friend and I played a round and I shot 84 -by far the best round this year. Was it because of my breathing, my new flexibility or the forgiving, wide fairways? Frankly, I think yoga had a lot to do with it!

Just did our Saturday Yoga class on the Private Hub again and wanted to give you some feedback on the rotational baseline assessment. Big difference noticed on both sides! Also when we did the tree pose with rotation last Spring I had to keep my big toe down and found it a struggle to do in bare feet. This week I was pleased to see I can do it with my foot on my ankle/lower calf. Still tough but progress! Small wins!

Just a quick note to let you know how improved my spring golf game is after our winter virtual Yoga for Golfers program. I was apprehensive going out for my first round of the season. I did the warmup from the Private Hub before the game and to my surprise, my first drive of the season was straight into the fairway!
All my drives were straighter than usual and I didn't "duff" any balls, as I'm able to turn more freely and swing better. I really see the difference after working with you over the winter. Thank you!

"I just wanted to give you some feedback now that the golf season has finally started! I have to say this has been one of the most successful and positive starts that I’ve ever had. The swing has been especially good, it’s almost like I didn’t take a break from the game. Normally, I start out the first 4-6 rounds somewhere in the high 80’s and gradually bring the score down over a month’s time. First two rounds this season, I shot 83 and 84, then followed that up with a couple of 79’s, which is amazing this early on! Drives are straight, and I am getting great distance off the tee and fairways. My body seems much more relaxed, and I don’t feel a lot of cracking and stiffness. I really believe your sessions are invaluable and definitely helping my golf game!
