I have been golfing since I was 15. If I wanted to hang out with my boyfriend (now my husband) on the weekends, then I had to learn how to play golf. I picked it up fairly quickly, the golf swing is fairly similar to a field hockey swing. I think he regrets it now…

MY FAVOURITE GOLF COURSE:
There are so many! Pezula Golf Course located on the Indian Ocean in South Africa / Leopard’s Creek located outside of Kruger National Park in South Africa- amazing to watch elephants and giraffes wondering around as you play golf! / Banff Springs in Alberta is amazing / TPC Scottsdale is also a favourite! / Tiburon Gold course in Florida is a challenge! MY BEST GOLF MOMENT EVER:
Playing a round with LPGA player Brittany Lincicome at The Concession in Florida and her commenting on my hybrid play and winning the LPGA Amateurs Ontario Championship twice! Getting a hole in one was pretty cool!

A GOLF COURSE I WOULD LOVE TO PLAY:
My dream course(s) to play is Old St. Andrew’s and Carnoustie in Scotland. I am getting my wish next September!

MY FAVOURITE GOLF PROFESSIONAL:
Joel Dahmen. I was fortunate to have a practice session with him at TPC Scottsdale last September - I learnt so much! Favourite LPGA Player is Georgia Hall - I want to be like her when I grow-up!

MY FAVOURITE YFG MOVE:
I would have to say it is a toss up between the alligator twist - really helps my golf swing and diaphragmatic breathing exercises which is key in keeping me sane during a tournament!
