We cover foot function in golf, followed by a short warm-up, for hips, spine & shoulders. A high lunge sequence which includes rotation and stability work. 3D child's pose for back & lats, alligator twists, and we end with supine twist & pigeon for gluts & hips. Another well rounded class!
There are a few factors that will affect the speed and power you are able to generate during your golf swing. We start and end this class with a rotational baseline assessment. The session includes a series of standing postures to build strength in the lower body followed by 3-D child's pose, alligator twist, supine pigeon and supine twist.

This class includes great hip stretches such as runners lunge, 90-90 stretch and butterfly. We cover extended supine twist, bridge, alligator twists, cat cow, runners lunge, child's pose, sphinx and 90-90 hip work.
A well rounded class featuring lots of hip activation and stretches. It features warrior I and pyramid pose. For those of you who have knee issues, you will love this one as there is no kneeling involved!

A well rounded class featuring seated and standing pigeon for gluts. We cover window washers, alligator twist, lunges series followed by our standing and seated pigeon. Targeting gluts, spinal rotation, thoracic spine, calves, neck and hips.

Another well rounded class where we focus on adductors. We start with pelvic tilts, followed by window washers and hip rise, adductors & core work with a block, alligator twist for thoracic spine, half-frog pose and sphinx, active child's pose, standing cat cow & shoulder stretches, followed by wide legged forward fold with a rotation. We then head down to active butterfly (for the hips) and end with supported chest opener on blocks, with our 4 to 6 breath.

This session targets hips, shoulders & ribcage movements. Slow paced, it is accessible to all. We start in a seated position, with lateral stretches and movements of the spine & ribcage. Follows some hip work (including the 90-90 for gluts), extended table for shoulder work. We then stand up and explore the ribcage, and follow with our Warrior I-Warrior III-Pyramid sequence. We finish with prone back work briefly, childs pose, and supine twist.

This class focuses mainly on shoulder function and mobility. A great one to do if you experience tightness around upper back and shoulders. I am sharing a few tips on how to awaken the muscles before stretching and strengthening.

A well rounded class which features a shoulder release on a block. It includes pelvic tilts, a supine pigeon sequence for the hips, core activation to level 3, bridge, alligator twist with the belt, a shoulder release on the block, active child's pose, cat cow, and a standing sequence with crescent lunge and some great spinal rotations.

This class features a "chest opener" on blocks. We cover foot function in golf (with a therapeutic ball), followed by a short warm-up, for hips, spine & shoulders. Follows a high lunge sequence which includes rotation and stability work. Stork for balance, sphinx & plank for core, 3D child's pose for back & lats, alligator twists, and we end with supine twist & pigeon for gluts & hips. Another well rounded class!

Alligator twist is a fundamental movement for golfers. It allows us to work on the shoulder to hip separation, while improving our thoracic spine ROM. In this short video, we look at the basic alligator twist then add some oblique activation to increase even more our shoulder turn.
