"I have been working with Chantal Emond of Fore! Yoga for the past three years. As a breast cancer survivor my oncologist first suggested a Gentle Yoga class to me as she felt it was important for me to maintain a level of physical activity within my regular routine and Yoga would also be beneficial to assist me with managing my stress. I was first intrigued with Chantal's facilitation style and genuine enthusiasm from the start. Chantal brings such a positive energy to every class and is very in tune with her clients individual needs, energy level and how they are feeling. She is encouraging to everyone and the structure of her class allows her to provide individual attention and support so that you get the most out of each pose. I like the fact that there is no level to achieve, just to strive for a level of personal success. The first time I took a Gentle Yoga class, I remember saying that I felt like I had just had a massage, totally Zen. I felt completely relaxed and had truly surrendered to a state of calm. I find the classes helpful as they have taught me how to relax from the breathing techniques to the shoulder rolls. They also help me stay focused on what's most important and that is taking care of myself which means I have to take time for myself, something I never used to do."
