"Three years ago, I was experiencing severe muscle spasms caused by an acutely tight intercostal muscle. The back specialist suggested yoga as a means of working through the spasms. Recommended by a friend, I tried Chantal's Gentle Yoga class. I loved it, and have been attending weekly ever since. Within a short amount of time, I had no more back spasms. In addition, I have had limited mobility in my neck for the past 16 years due to a fall. Through regular attendance at Chantal's Gentle Yoga classes, I have gained mobility in my neck as well as overall flexibility. Chantal begins each class by inquiring if anyone has any new ailments she should know about and by assessing the energy level of the group. She adapts each class to these criteria. Chantal is in tune with each member of the class, readily providing accommodations or props to facilitate the poses. At the end of each class, I come away feeling wonderfully relaxed, well stretched, and at peace. I consider Chantal's Gentle Yoga class one of the highlights of my week."
