Many years ago, I first tried yoga to manage stress and anxiety. As my practice evolved, I not only felt calmer, but I also noticed that my back pain lessened, and became more manageable.
To keep my back as healthy as it can be, and to prevent further pain and injury, I now have a mental list of go-to movements/stretches that I incorporate in my daily routine. Consistently, I include mobility work, strengthening and stretching. The key word here is “consistently.” Everyday. And if I skip a day or two, well, I feel it! And not in a good way. In this video, I am sharing some of my favourite movements that help me stay strong, stable and as pain free as possible. As always, move and breathe with ease, and enjoy!
