Creating ease with accountability

Accountability is something that I have been working on a lot these past few months. For example, remember when I shared my "Pandemic Weight Gain" post? Well, it was a way for me to be accountable, and follow-thru with my weight loss plan. On that note, I am happy to report that the steps I have put in place paid off! I have lost 7 pounds since January 2021 and feel great about it. 

I also joined an Entrepreneurs' Club recently for one reason only: they match you with an accountability partner. ​Having an accountability partner is a game changer! Especially if you tend to procrastinate, and second-guess all the time. Showing up, prepared, and ready to share ideas and setting goals creates momentum. Suddenly, a personal or professional project that may have been stagnating for a while is taking shape and moving forward.

​If there is something you feel stuck about, reach out, speak to someone, and consider asking a friend to be your accountability partner. It could be as simple as making a date with someone to go for a walk. Having someone meeting you to do a physical activity is a great way to ensure that you will get it done!

In my case, being accountable creates more ease in my life, and that is a wonderful feeling!
