Embracing Downward-Facing DogI find it to be a very calming and stress relieving pose for both mind and body. I feel balanced between upper and lower body as well as grounded. Not to mention the awesome stretch it offers for the front, back & side body, shoulders, chest, and hamstrings. As you continue to deepen and advance your practice, Downward-Facing Dog becomes a great resting posture also. Hard to believe, I know! As you continue your yogic journey, you too will hopefully discover the many benefits this asana has to offer. Namaste!”
