Nut for Nuts!
In this post, I am sharing with you a wonderful creamy pasta recipe that is vegan. Instead of using dairy cream, I made a heavenly cashew cream. My husband who is a hard core carnivore, and who loves anything creamy and cheesy absolutely loved it. Since it passed Norm's test, I am sharing it with you here! The original recipe is from Pick Up Limes. The only thing I changed from the original recipe is the cashew cream, and I added coarse grey salt when plating the meal. To make the cashew cream: Soak 1 cup of raw unsalted cashews in water for a minimum of 4 hours. Drain and rinse. Add the cashews to a food processor or Vitamix with 1/8 of a cup of water. Process until you get a smooth, heavenly cream. You may need to add a little bit of water depending on the consistency of the cream. GET FULL RECIPE Bon appétit ! Comments are closed.
